OUR APPROACH

Two decades of digital experience. Now amplified by AI

Praion isn't an agency that just discovered AI. We're professionals with two decades in digital marketing and web design — who built Praion as the logical answer to how our work is changing.

02 · METHODOLOGY

AEO — Answer Engine Optimization

The way people search for information is changing. When someone today looks for "which boutique hotel in Pelion is ideal for a couple's weekend?", they don't necessarily Google it anymore. They ask ChatGPT. Or Perplexity. Or Google AI Overviews. They get one answer — not 10 links.

That's AEO: organising your site to appear in that one answer when it concerns your category.

It's not "SEO 2.0". It's something different. SEO optimises for keywords. AEO optimises for questions — and for how AI engines understand, trust, and select sources.

Question-driven structure

Each page is written around a specific question someone might ask. Not "Services" — but "How much does a website cost for a boutique hotel?" or "What's the difference between Pulse and Engine?".

Schema markup at every level

Schema is how your site tells engines "this is a question, this is an answer, this is a product name, this is a price". Without schema, AI engines have to guess. With schema, they understand.

Citation-friendly content

AI engines prefer sources they can cite with specific facts, numbers, and precise answers. We write content that's "citable" — not vague theoretical descriptions that AI struggles to reproduce.

03 · TIMING

Why AEO matters now

The paradox: the more people use AI for search, the bigger the advantage for those already optimised for AI.

In traditional SEO, competition is already intense. Thousands of businesses fight for the same positions with similar strategies and content.

In AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), the picture is different. Most Greek businesses have not even heard the term. Those who start today have the opportunity to build digital presence and credibility before AEO becomes the new normal.

The opportunity is NOW. NOT for long.

04 · OPERATING MODEL

AI brings the speed. We bring the judgment

When we say AI-powered, we don't mean people are out of the equation. The opposite. AI handles the execution — drafting, formatting and content production. We spend our time where real value is created: in strategy, experience, and judgment.

Which question is worth answering. Which message is worth sending. Which tone fits your brand. What publishes as it is — and what needs to be rewritten from scratch. We make those decisions. Not the AI.

The result? We produce faster, with greater consistency and more output than a traditional agency — without sacrificing the strategic thinking that actually makes the difference.

05 · WORKFLOW

How we work in practice

01

Discovery

No strategy starts from tools or tactics. It starts from understanding the business. In one session we capture goals, audience, available assets, and priorities, so the decisions that follow are grounded in real needs.

02

Setup

We start from what you have already built. We analyze your website, content, social media, and the rest of your brand assets, so we can train an AI system that understands how your business communicates. The content produced then doesn’t sound generic or impersonal. It sounds like you.

03

Execution

Strategy turns into action. We create the content, pages, and campaigns we have agreed on and deliver them for approval. You keep control. We take care of consistency, quality, and execution.

04

Compounding

Most businesses treat content as a campaign. For us it is an asset. The value is not in a single post or blog. Each article, each AEO page, and each new answer adds to what has already been created. Over time, the website becomes a stronger source of visibility and organic demand.

06 · SIGNAL VS NOISE

"The Signal Under the Noise" — what it means in practice

It's our tagline, but it's not a slogan. It's a description of what we do. Three examples:

Boutique hotel

THE NOISE

50 Instagram posts a month with sunsets and emoji. Reels showing rooms from every angle. Ad campaigns targeting "Greek hotels" without differentiation.

THE SIGNAL

One AEO page answering "which boutique hotel in Pelion is ideal for a couple's weekend?" — and 3 blog posts building authority on that specific question. The next visitor who asks this in ChatGPT, you appear.

Law firm

THE NOISE

LinkedIn posts "Happy Monday!" every week. 200-word articles about "new legislation" written by juniors. Generic "Contact us" CTAs.

THE SIGNAL

12 deep articles on specific legal questions other firms in your area don't answer publicly. AEO pages appearing when someone asks "how do you cancel a will after death?". You've become the default answer.

Private clinic

THE NOISE

Google ads targeting "pediatrician Athens" — you appear next to 30 competitors.

THE SIGNAL

8 pages with deep answers to questions parents search at 3 AM. "When should I take my child to hospital for a fever?". When ChatGPT answers parents, it cites you. Not as an ad. As a real recommendation.

07 · COMMON QUESTIONS

Common questions about our approach

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) helps customers find you when they search on Google or Bing. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) helps customers find you when they ask an AI. As more people use tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and the AI Overviews in Google to find information, AEO becomes the next step in how a business shows up online. The goal isn’t just to appear in a list of results. The goal is to be part of the answer.

Traditional SEO agencies optimise for Google rankings — keywords, backlinks, technical SEO. They work, but they answer 2015 questions. We optimise for every source that sends visitors today: Google, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews. We don't ignore SEO — we just treat it as baseline, not strategy. AEO is the layer the market is just now discovering.

AEO isn't a technical exercise. It's strategic positioning. When we build AEO content, we start from the questions your ideal customers ask — not from keywords. That means every page we write serves a specific business goal: lead generation, brand authority, customer education, premium positioning. We don't produce content to fill the site. We produce content that brings the right people at the right moment.

No. AI replaces execution work, not judgment. Drafting, formatting, and repetitive production can be automated. Strategy, positioning, messaging, and business decisions remain human work. That is where the difference between automation and marketing lies.

Before any content production starts, we analyze your existing material, positioning, and audience so we can train a system that understands how you communicate. AI brings the speed. Strategy, judgment, and tone control remain human. The goal isn’t AI content. It’s content that sounds like you, at greater scale.

Yes, and that's part of the standard workflow. We deliver in batches for approval — you check content, tone, and direction before anything publishes. Early in the collaboration the reviews are more detailed; as we get familiar with your brand, the process gets faster. Quality control always stays with you. We never publish content without your approval.

AEO is new. The logic behind it is not. For two decades we have been helping businesses become more easily visible online through proper content structure, technical optimisation, and clear communication of value. AEO does not replace these principles. It carries them into the new era of AI search. That is why we do not treat AEO as a trend. We treat it as the natural evolution of practices that have been applied successfully for years.

It’s not just whether you appear in AI answers that matters to us. What matters is what that presence brings to your business. That’s why we measure three things: the visibility of your brand in AI search, the traffic coming from AI platforms, and — most importantly — the business outcomes coming from that traffic, whether those are leads, bookings, enquiries, or sales.

Most industries are already in a transition phase, even if it isn’t always visible in analytics. More and more users are looking for information, comparing options, and asking for advice through tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and the AI Overviews in Google. The real question isn’t "does my industry use AI?" but how soon a competitor will optimise for AEO and gain the advantage. The answer: very soon.

In 30 days your site is optimised (schemas everywhere, the first AEO pages are online). In 60–90 days the first results in AI answers start to come through for 3–5 specific questions. In 6 months you become a known reference on 15–20 questions in your category, which is also the first meaningful sign of traffic from AI search. Our answer, then, is 12 months.
